Lymm Piranhas U9C Team Origins

In order to allow the creation of two U11 Teams in 2011 it was decided that an additional U9 Team would need to be added in 2009.

Three players were brought in from another U9 Team, in Jack, Oliver G and Alex. This would allow a bit of stability and give the players some more time on the pitch than they were previously getting.

Flyers were posted at local schools and coaching sessions were then held across the summer of 2009 in order to generate the additional players required. Out of this Elliot decided to move from his old club Cadishead and new players were also drafted in of Robbie, Oliver P, Thomas, Jordan and William.

Nik moved from the U9A Team Coaching Staff and Colin was drafted in to assist in both coaching and in the matches as well. Simon is also helping out in the Managerial duties especially in organising the fixture administration.

So 2009-10 is the first season for the boys in the Warrington Junior Football League (U9 Division 6) and lets hope its a good one!
